For wedding professionals, shooting or styling small, intimate weddings is always a joy! Of course, when this team saw the private dining room at The Kimpton Journeyman in Milwaukee's 3rd Ward, we fell head over heels! What a stunning and sophisticated space for an intimate "micro wedding."

The Edwardian era was the seed of inspiration for this dramatically styled shoot. The team incorporated luscious velvet and decadent fabrics reminiscent of Edwardian royalty, a stunning Lazaro gown and custom-made jewelry with beetle casings. The stationery was finished with delicate insect wing patterns, reminiscent of the Art Nouveau style in the early 1900's. For a poetic vibe, we utilized an overhead projector to cast dramatic floral shadows on our reception vignette.

We hope this decadent styled shoot will inspire Wisconsin couples with major style yet modest budgets, showcasing what can be done with a bit of creativity!
